The Registry Department is the nerve Centre of Management. It keeps official records, the seal of the Centre and provides various supportive administrative services for the management. It provides Secretaries to cover meetings of the statutory committees, and is responsible to the Director/CE for the day-to-day running of the Centre. The department is headed by the Registrar.
The Registrar by virtue of his position is the Secretary to the Governing Council and the Academic Board, as well as their major committees. He assists the Director, along with other Heads of Departments, in the formulation and execution of administrative policies of the Centre. He advises Management on Staff matters.
The Registry is made up of five (5) Units:
(i) Governing Council and General Matters.
(ii) Establishment.
(iii) Training and Staff Development.
(iv) Legal Matters.
(v) Welfare and Pension Matters.
